Having worked at various sizes of charities using Salesforce, I have seen first-hand how transformative Salesforce can be when implemented well. I’ve seen it streamline complex processes, improve service delivery and ultimately help charities deliver better outcomes for the causes they support. Knowing that I am making a difference at the end of the day is what motivates me the most.
Experience
I’ve been working in the nonprofit sector for over a decade, supporting the work of various organisations along the way. I don’t come from a traditional IT background: I worked in events and supply chain management before I came across Salesforce at The NCS Trust in 2018, when I joined their Salesforce team as a Change and Project Manager. During the seven years working there, I developed key Salesforce knowledge and skills and became certified.
I’ve delivered multi-cloud Salesforce implementations and led transformation projects in which we creatively customised Salesforce features to the organisation’s unique needs. And before joining Time Technology, I even led the successful implementation of Salesforce Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Nonprofit Cloud) at a major children’s charity.
I’m excited about this next chapter of my career at Time Technology, where I can continue to support charities in focusing on what matters most to them by being part of a team of like-minded, highly skilled Salesforce professionals.
Favourite Trailhead
The Salesforce Admin trails from beginner to the end. It allowed me to quickly understand and learn the key features of the platform and prepare for my exam without attending any training courses. I always recommend it to anyone starting out with Salesforce.
