Greg Smith

My early career began with an IBM Business Partner, where I progressed from Junior Developer to Senior Developer/Designer, Team Lead, and Technical Pre-Sales Consultant. Along the way, I helped establish multiple helpdesk teams providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, with a strong focus on improving service and client outcomes.

In 2004, I launched my own IT consultancy, supporting a wide range of businesses, and I continued as a Director until 2016. I then took a very different turn in life by pursuing a lifelong ambition to become a Motorcycle Instructor, teaching everyone from complete beginners to returning riders and gaining a new appreciation for patience, communication, and coaching.

My journey with Time Technology began in 2017, marking the start of my Salesforce career. I was instantly hooked by the platform’s scale and the possibilities within the ecosystem. Since then, I’ve become a Salesforce Certified Application Architect, earned 14 certifications, including Agentforce Specialist, and achieved Agentblazer Legend status in both 2025 and 2026.

I’m particularly energised by the AI agentic era and the opportunities it creates for charities and organisations to work smarter, respond faster, and deliver better outcomes. I enjoy turning complex ideas into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions and sharing knowledge so our clients can benefit from the very best the platform has to offer.

Outside work, I’ve been fortunate to meet some of the world’s most talented racing drivers and have been equally humbled by volunteering with people facing real-life challenges. Life is a journey – if you can be anything, be kind.
