James Casey

I was first introduced to Salesforce during my university placement. There, I worked my way through many Trailheads and quickly found myself working in live environments. Working with one other person, we supported approximately 25 charities, visiting them on-site to discuss Salesforce improvements.

Through this work, my enthusiasm for Salesforce grew as it allowed me to network and gain insights into the charitable work these organisations did. After completing my degree, I joined a charity that provided rehabilitation services—a connection I had made during my placement. I began working in IT Support, assisting local charities. Additionally, I took on the responsibilities of a Salesforce Administrator.

As time went on, I progressed to managing the Salesforce side of the business, before joining Time Technology in 2023.  It’s been an exciting journey so far, combining technology, charity work, and business management and working with Time Technology gives me the opportunity to continue on this journey.

I am maybe most proud of the work I did with Dudley Holiday Activities which provided children who were entitled to free school meals or who had SEND needs with free holiday activities during Summer, Winter and Easter. We implemented Salesforce Programme Management Module and integrated it into a website (WordPress) using a plugin and JQuery/html/CSS. Over a 2-year period, we had roughly 6000 parents register, along with 250+ providers.
