The process of implementing IT solutions for our charity customers can be pretty challenging. Budgets are often squeezed and key personnel are already stretched delivering the charity’s mission. Overcoming these challenges, however, is so worthwhile when customers get to witness the transformative effect that these solutions can have.
In 2022, the Cavell Support team saw a 200% rise in those seeking help from the charity compared to the previous year. In the first 9 months of 2023, there has been an additional 23% increase in nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants seeking help, compared to the same time last year, so demand remains very high.
For phase 1 of this project, Time Technology implemented Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and the Outbound Funds Module (OFM), migrating data from Cavell’s legacy Donor Strategy CRM. Grant applications are received through a Formstack webform, with data flowing directly into Salesforce. An approval process then allows for the efficient processing of applications, though to payment from identified funds.
Discussing the solution, Alison Parsons – Head of Support at Cavell said “I cannot praise our Salesforce Partner, Time Technology, enough. Their help and support through this process has resulted in us achieving not only the outcome we wanted, but in fact a far superior product due to their in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and their proactive approach in making Salesforce work for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we rarely waited more than a few hours for help or support. Highly recommended.”
We have moved straight on to a second phase, implementing Salesforce support for Fundraising, and look forward to working with Cavell through 2024 and beyond.
